    Max Q Fitness is an advanced personal training gym that was invented and founded by Bob Kissel in 2011 in South Tampa. Bob Kissel knew that there was a better way to help people with their goals in weight loss, increasing muscle mass, and just having a better quality of life mentality and physically outside of traditional personal training methods.


    Max Q is defined by Wikipedia as the point at which aerodynamic stress on a vehicle in atmospheric flight is maximized.


    At Max Q Fitness we define Max Q as the point at which muscular strength and Resting Metabolic Rate is maximized and quantified effectively, efficiently, and safely.

    Adaptive Resistance Technology is the exclusive vehicle to which muscular strength is maximized and quantified by which resistance automatically adapts to changing strength, exclusively. As a result, your body adapts to Max Q providing the most effective efficient results, possible.


    Adaptive Resistance Technology is the only exercise technology that automatically triggers the Anaerobic Energy System in which the Phpsphagen system lasting 0-10 seconds immediately followed by the Glycogen lactic acid system lasting 11 – 90 seconds stimulates the muscle to respond i.e. results.

    Results can only be achieved within the 90-second window of the Anaerobic Energy System. Outside the Anaerobic Energy System, exercise is purely aerobic.


    At MaxQ Fitness and with our advanced personal training, you attain a maximally effective strength workout within the Anaerobic Energy System as well as an effective cardiovascular workout throughout the fifteen-minute session.     Our patented technology electronically selects resistance based on your strength which allows you to fail on more reps making it infinitely easier to build muscle while  burning fat, simultaneously, until your next 15-minute session.

    MaxQ clients quickly become Fat-Adapted meaning that their body burn's fat for energy which is why they get results through a powerful 15-minute stimulus followed by a 72-hour recovery/fat burning results outcome.     

  • How are you different than all other forms of exercise?

    We invented an entirely new form of exercise that's intense but lasts less than one minute utilizing ATP Synthase, a metabolic pathway previously untouched by any other form of exercise.
